The Station Hotel Dudley

Originally built in 1910 and demolished in 1936 to build a larger hotel, it was a popular place for artists playing at the hippodrome which used to be located opposite to stay. Some of those that stayed are Laurel and Hardy, Bing Crosby and George Formby.

The cellars of the hotel are said to be haunted by a maid who was murdered, guests are said to run from their rooms in fear and furniture moves on its own accord.
